About the service
When deciding where to give birth to your baby, this section will provide you with information on what to expect here at MY Maternity.
This includes the different aspects of your maternity journey such as antenatal care, birth options, and specialist support. You’ll be able to take a look at the facilities we offer, and hear first-hand about a range of different birth experiences from our patients.
The Maternity team
The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust offers all four birth choices as recomended by NICE guidelines. We are one of the few trusts across the country to offer this choice.
I have a little boy (aged 2) that I had a water birth at Pinderfields Hospital birth centre in the birthing pool. I was really lucky to have a really straightforward birth and had a lovely experience.
