What is the service?
We work with GPs and our hospital Dermatology Services to provide care for people with a range of skin conditions.
The types of conditions we can provide help and treatment for include:
- Acne (mild and moderate)
- Actinic keratosis
- Bacterial infections
- Basal cell carinoma
- Benign skin lumps/bumps (skin tags, small cysts, benign naevi, basal cell papillomatas)
- Bowen's
- Complex viral warts (except in the case of immune-compromised or history of skin malignancy)
- Contact dermatitis
- Eczema
- Fungal infections
- Hairloss
- Hirsutism
- Lichen planus
- Lichen simplex
- Molluscum contagiosum
- Nail disorders
- Non-melanomatous skin cancer
- Parasite infections
- Pigment disorders such as vitiligo
- Pityriasis
- Psoriasis
- Rosacea
- Seborrhoeic dermatitis
- Undiagnosed rashes
- Vasculitis
