Covid vaccine staff recruitment
We are recruiting professionals to help deliver the largest vaccination programme in NHS history
The first Covid-19 vaccination has been released, with others anticipated to follow shortly. The vaccines are our best defence against the virus alongside effective social distancing, wearing a mask and hand hygiene.
These roles will appeal to individuals who want to make a difference to the health and safety of our workforce and our local communities.
Our vaccination service will be provided from two sites in Wakefield, which will be a community vaccination centre in Wakefield city centre and a vaccination centre at Pinderfields Hospital.
In all roles, appropriate training, supervision and PPE will be provided to ensure the safety of staff, volunteers and patients.

Band 6 Vaccination Supervisor | 377-CORP40486 | Be part of MY team as a clinical supervisor and provide professional leadership and support to our vaccinators, clinical assessors and immunisers/vaccination clinic support workers.

As a Registered Health Care Professional working in immunisations, you will deliver a safe and effective service for the mass delivery of vaccinations for both influenza and the COVID-19 vaccine.
Band 3 Immuniser / Vaccination Clinic Support Worker | 377-CORP40500 |
Administer the Covid-19 vaccine to citizens as well as confirming their identity and consent as part of a team of staff working as a pod structure.
Band 2 Vaccination Administration and Patient Flow Support | 377-CORP40512 |
To provide efficient, clear system of communication and administration to enable the Vaccination Service to run effectively and smoothly.
