Diabetic Eye Screening Programme

Diabetic Eye Screening Programme

Mid Yorkshire Hospital NHS Trust has more than fifteen years’ experience of providing diabetic eye screening.  From 1 April 2017 Mid Yorkshire began offering screening in community venues across Leeds in addition to our provision in Wakefield and North Kirklees. Patient consultation across these areas identified a strong desire to have eye screening closer to where they live. The service expects to have a coverage area of 83,000 patients by the end of 2017. This is expected to grow in line with predictions to 101,000 after five years.

We offer a dedicated appointment helpline if patients would like to change the date and time of their appointment or if they want to attend a different screening venue more convenient to them. Please call 01924 541217.
