  • Our first Clinical Endometriosis Information Day was held on Saturday 13 October, in response to patient feedback. 30 members of our staff attended from PCT and our hospital wards, outpatients, theatre departments and included both nurses and Dr’s. Our patients wanted more awareness and understanding of the disease by GPs and ward staff.
  • Our Endometriosis team held their first Information Day in association with Endometriosis UK on Saturday 17 March, in which 43 people attended – despite the snow.

The CEO of Endometriosis UK - Emma Cox (centre of photo) gave an overview of the organisation and the support they can offer.

There were presentations from our Endometriosis CNS Joanne Pursglove (pictured on the right hand side), one of our Consultants Mr Kremer (Women’s services), Dr Lisa Gatenby (Registered Nutritionist), Dr Dimple Vyas (our chronic pain Anaesthetist), and Yorkshire fertility Centre Sister Lucinda Doherty.

They received some excellent feedback from all of the attendees.
