Doris is just one of a range of new animated characters living on Our Street (www.thisisourstreet.com), the residents of which will be used to explain health service changes through their own health and social care issues.
NHS Wakefield Clinical Commissioning Group who have developed this new and innovative animated campaign are now looking for a local person cast as the real life Doris to help them develop new storylines for the animated character, Doris Clark.
Dr Phil Earnshaw, Chair of NHS Wakefield Clinical Commissioning Group said: “We are currently looking for someone who has a long term condition, is accessing health services and may in the past have had to be treated in hospital. Basing Doris on a real life person will help bring Doris’s character to life. You don’t have to be called Doris in real life or be the same age, you just have to watch the video at www.thisisourstreet.comand if you think you or someone in your family has health and social care similarities with Doris get in touch. We can then use your real life experiences to help develop Doris’s character and her future storylines.”
If you want to be cast as our animated Doris please contact John Kerr on 01924 317659 or email email@example.com
