The Community and Vascular Nursing teams at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust are celebrating their award shortlist success.
The teams’ joint efforts have been shortlisted in the ‘Workforce’ category in the HSJ Awards 2018, for their innovative work in developing and implementing a leg ulcer treatment pathway for patients.
The awards are one of the largest celebrations of healthcare excellence in the world, recognising and promoting the finest achievements in the NHS, and showcasing them to the service’s most influential leaders.
Dianne Newsome, Locality Matron - Adult Community Services at the Trust, said: “To receive industry recognition for this work is fantastic. I’m so proud of the staff and all they have achieved.”
The shortlisted team will now complete a presentation and interview to a specific judging panel made up of senior and influential figures from the health sector.
The winners of the awards will be announced on the evening of 21 November 2018 at the InterContinental O2, London.
