Working in partnership

Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP)

STPs are place-based, multi-year plans built around the needs of local populations, which will help drive a genuine and sustainable transformation in health and care between 2016 and 2021. We are part of the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Sustainability and Transformation Partnership.

The vision for West Yorkshire and Harrogate is for everyone to have the best possible outcomes for their health and wellbeing. You can find out more information about this and what it means for NHS services in West Yorkshire here.  View 'Our Next Steps for Better Health and Care for Everyone’ document and supporting information here.

West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts (WYAAT)

WYAAT brings together NHS acute hospital trusts from West Yorkshire and Harrogate to drive forward the best possible care for our patients and includes Leeds, Airedale, Bradford, Calderdale and Huddersfield, Harrogate and Mid Yorkshire.

Working with local and regional commissioners to shape plans for new models of care we can be a strong voice contributing to the development of national policy for acute care as well as share and spread best practice across the collaborative to benefit patients. By thinking and working as a system, we can reduce duplication and work more efficiently.
