Relocation of Regional Burns service back to Gate 29

Our Regional Burns service at Pinderfields Hospital has moved back to Gate 29 following a temporary relocation to Gate 38A.

Please be aware of this if you are planning to visit the service. Gate 29 is located on Floor C.

Gate 38A is a temporary building that has been constructed next to our Emergency Department. This is to accommodate our patients whilst ventilation, maintenance and other upgrade works take place within the hospital.

Regional Burns is the last service to be relocated to Gate 38A in its initial 16-bed configuration. Over the coming months, Gate 38A will be reconfigured into a 40-bed ward allowing further works to proceed in additional gates. It is scheduled to reopen at the end of April 2026, with ward moves continuing until early 2027.
