Nursing placements at MYTT

We work with several universities to offer quality pre-registration training for students nurses.

Our Professional Development and Education Unit (PDEU) organises and facilitates placements, and provides a friendly, supportive environment for students to learn.

What you can expect from your placement

We offer placements across our 3 hospital sites at: 

  • Pinderfields Hospital (Wakefield)
  • Dewsbury and District Hospital
  • Pontefract Hospital

Useful information before you start

  • Placement information is usually shared via your university prior to your start date
  • You’ll receive a placement induction or local orientation
  • Make sure to check with your university about uniform, ID, and DBS requirements
