Navigating Suicide Prevention
Suicide prevention and support
At Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust, we are committed to supporting suicide prevention and helping people access the right support when they need it.
Our Navigating Suicide Prevention programme aims to increase awareness, encourage compassionate conversations and help people recognise when someone may be struggling. Through the programme, we promote the RESPOND approach, a simple framework designed to support people to recognise concerns, engage in meaningful conversations and connect individuals with appropriate support.
Whether you are looking for help for yourself, supporting a friend, family member or colleague, or seeking information following a bereavement, there are a number of organisations that can provide advice, support and crisis intervention.
