Trust specialist features in national NHS England menopause campaign

As Menopause Awareness Month shines a spotlight on women’s health, a specialist from Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is helping lead the national conversation after being featured in a new NHS England campaign.

Ms Veena Kaul, Consultant Gynaecologist and Menopause Specialist, is the face of the campaign, sharing expert advice to help raise awareness of menopause, its symptoms and the support available to women.

The campaign encourages open conversations about menopause and aims to improve understanding of a life stage that can have a significant impact on physical health, emotional wellbeing and everyday life.

Ms Kaul has played a key role in supporting women across the region and advocating for greater awareness and access to menopause care. Her involvement in the national campaign highlights both her expertise and the important work taking place at the Trust to improve women's health.

Ms Kaul said: "Menopause affects every woman differently, but no one should feel they have to navigate it alone. By talking openly about menopause and understanding the support available, we can help more women access the advice and treatment they need to live well during this stage of life."

The Trust is proud to see one of its specialists representing the NHS on a national platform and helping to increase awareness and understanding of menopause among women, families, employers and healthcare professionals across the country.

The national campaign complements the support available through the Trust's MY Menopause programme, which provides education, advice and practical support to help people better understand and manage menopause.
