Conditions we treat

Urology is the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the prostate, kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra and male reproductive organs. The areas we cover include:

  • Andrology (erectile dysfunction)
  • Bladder disorders such as painful bladders, over-active bladders
  • Cancer services
  • Neuro and female urology, such as reconstructive surgery, urodynamics (including video)
  • Prostate, such as lower urinary tract symptoms, assessment and surgery

Urology cancer Specialist Nursing Team

The specialist nursing team is an established highly skilled and knowledgeable nurses from a range of backgrounds. We aim to provide a service that is dedicated to the patient and their families providing personalised care wherever possible.

What is the service?

Urological cancer is one that occurs in any of the following areas of the body:

  • Bladder
  • Kidney
  • Penis
  • Prostate
  • Testicles

We provide specialist nursing support and co-ordination the urological patient cancer care pathway. From pre-diagnosis to discharge or end-of-life. This is alongside the multi-disciplinary team and through independent and nurse-facilitated clinics.

Where is the service provided?

We provide a range of services including traditional face-to-face appointments, telephone appointments and video consultations.
