Relocation of Respiratory service back to Gate 11

Our Respiratory service at Pinderfields Hospital has moved back to Gate 11 following a temporary relocation to Gate 38A.

Please be aware of this if you are planning to visit the service. Gate 11 is located on Floor B.

Gate 38A is a temporary building that has been constructed next to our Emergency Department. This is to accommodate our patients whilst upgrade and maintenance works take place within the hospital.

Initially, Gate 38A has been configured as a 16-bed facility to allow ventilation, maintenance and other upgrade works to be undertaken on a number of gates.

Following the completion of these works, the ward will be reconfigured into a 40-bed ward allowing further works to proceed in the remaining gates, continuing over the next few years until early 2027.
