Changes to ward visiting times – from Monday 20 November | News

From Monday 20 November, the hospital visiting times will change to 11am - 8pm from Monday to Sunday (currently 8am - 8pm). 

The slight change in visiting times will enable our staff to best care for our patients and get on top of the morning workload and daily cleaning before visitors arrive, and should hopefully mean visitors and patients can enjoy more quality time together, with less interruptions during their visit. 

Exceptions to this guidance can be discussed with the ward manager and clinical teams based on the needs of the patients and their carers. 

We know how important it is to our patients to see their loved ones and carers and we have tried hard to reduce the impact of changing the visiting hours as much as possible.
