A test which could avoid procedures such as an endoscopy for patients has been shortlisted for an esteemed award at the prestigious Health Service Journal Awards
The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust’s Cardiac Rehab and Cardio Respiratory teams, in the month of September distributed over 500 collection bags for The British Heart Foundation (BHF) to patients, cardiology colleagues, family and friends, to encourage them to donate their unwanted items to the charity. The teams were supporting the British Heart Foundation’s September ‘Bag it Beat It’ campaign.

The Rosewood Centre Palliative Day Support and Therapy Unit team at Dewsbury Hospital, this week hosted a garden tea party to celebrate the official opening of the newly transformed garden by the Mayor of Kirklees, Cllr Jim Dodds and the Mayoress, his wife Carol Dodds.
