Accolade for Eye Centre

The Eye Centre received a commendation in the Wakefield Civic Society’s 2016 Design Awards, which were announced at the Civic Society’s Annual General Meeting on Thursday 14 April at Wakefield Town Hall.

Junior doctors' strike

The planned 48 hour strike by junior doctors commenced at 8am today  (Wednesday 6 April 2016) and will continue until 8am on Friday 8 April 2016.

Kindness in the aire

The Accident and Emergency Team at Dewsbury Radio Aire listeners were one of the many groups of people opening their hearts to those spending Christmas in hospital.


Through their Cash for Kids campaign, they donated a staggering 400 presents to Dewsbury and District Hospital’s Accident and Emergency department – to distribute to children attending there.
